Please follow these steps...
- Open the Web Console and choose the "API Connection" tab.
- Make note of the account information including "Username:" and "Password:" below that. (Keep the site open.)
- Open LightSpeed and login using that information.
- Once logged in use the standard LightSpeed functionality to manually change the password (Edit > Change Password).
- NOTE: if the password has already expired you will be prompted to change it as soon as you try to login.
- Log out of LightSpeed
- Log back into LightSpeed with the new information to ensure that it is working properly.
- Go back to the web console.
- Enter the newly change password into the "Password:" field and hit the "Update" button at the bottom of the page.
- When the page refreshes hit the "Check Connection" button and read the results at the bottom of the page to make sure it worked as expected.
